On a beautiful warm, sunny Sunday morning, 19 Corvettes gathered in Shediac for our annual lobster run. For the first time, our destination was L'Aboiteau Restaurant in Cap Pelé located right at a beach on the Northumberland Strait. Our large caravan arrived at the noon hour and after ordering, everyone settled down to a fresh seafood lunch - lobster in the shell, lobster rolls, fried fish or clams - it all looked good. After lunch we spent an hour or so socializing, wandering along the beautiful sandy beach or inspecting the boats tied at the wharf. After leaving the restaurant, we traveled along the coast and the back roads to Sackville where dessert was waiting - those strawberry shortcake McFlurry's sure are good! From Sackville, we traveled through Dorchester and back to Dieppe and on to our home locations. Many thanks to Art and Diane Belliveau for arranging and leading this enjoyable tour.
