Title: May 19 - Maritime Motorsports Museum
Post by: psdunn on May 27, 2012, 04:56:26 PM
On May 19th, 8 cars from the Greater Moncton Corvette Club traveled to Petitcodiac for a Bar-B-Que at the Maritime Motorsports Museum.  At the Museum, we were met by members of the River Valley Vettes and the Southern New Brunswick Corvette Club, the organizers of the Bar-B-Que.  After a leisurely lunch of hot dogs and cake, the 3 clubs went their separate ways and our group from the GMCC went west on Hwy 1 until we turned of onto Rte 114 which led us to the western end of Fundy National Park.  We drove through the park with a photo stop along the way and then stopped in Alma for pictures, restrooms and sticky buns.  None of our favourite ice cream stands are yet open, too early in the season.  After our stop in Amla, we drove along the beautiful Fundy coast through the village on Hillsborough and on back to Moncton.  It was a beautiful day and a great first outing of the year for many of us.
