Greater Moncton Corvette Club

Present: Roger and Angie Bourgeois, Paul Dunne, Dave Fyffe, Gary and Suzanne Gaskin, Charles Gould, Mike Lipton, Don MacAuley, Wornick Price, Dwight and Libby Rayworth, Ken Cameron, Bob Steeves, Vernon Croswaite, Doug MacDonald, Dave Gates, Chanel Michaud, Austin and Carolyn McKay, Paul and Monique Girouard. The regular monthly meeting of the club was called to order at 7 PM by the president, Roger Bourgeois, with 22 members present. Four new members were welcomed followed by Bobbi Steeves reporting on the Steeves Reunion and the club's participation in same.
The minutes of the June meeting were read and accepted by the membership.
Old Business:
a) Roger reported on the most recent runs and activities:
— Bar Harbor had cars in attendance from the Nova Scotia clubs
— Ontario trip was successful with 5 cars from our area
— Lounsbury Show was well attended with 73 registered and a few drop-ins for a total of 84
— Covered bridge tour — 15 cars to see approximately 10 bridges
— Gaspe tour — 15 cars enjoyed great scenery and fun
— Visitors — five Corvettes from Ottawa-Petawawa were in the area and a small tour was organized; thank you to all who participated

New Business:
a) Atlantic Nationals Corvette Show, July 6 to 10 — we have lots of door prizes including those from Corvette America; any additional prizes should go to Charles or Roger. Help will be needed for parking cars, setting up, registration, ballot counting, and a small tour for outsiders on Thursday.
b) Upcoming events:
Yarmouth - July 15-17 leaving Dieppe at 8:30 AM
Truro - July 23 leaving Dieppe at 8:30 AM
PEI Club fest - Aug 13-14 - Island cruise
Miramichi - Aug 27 - possible stop a Salmon Museum
Members will be up to date by e-mail.
Golf shirts mostly sold out. Will re-order by groups of 12.
Hand bags not for sale but used for information packages at Atlantic Nationals.
