Greater Moncton Corvette Club
April 02, 2018      Lounsbury Meeting Room   7 PM

Present: Roger and Angie Bourgeois, Paul Dunn, Dave and Louise Fyffe, Gary Gaskin,
Don MacAuley, Wornick Price, Steve Whalen, Jake Clements, Ken Cameron, Trueman Copp, Victor LeBlanc, Chanel Michaud, Paul and Monique Girouard, Betty May Madden, Don Barrett, Greg Zwicker, and Leonce Cormier (21)

The regular monthly meeting was called to order by the president at 7 PM with 21 members in attendance. One new member and those we don't see so often were warmly welcomed.  The sympathy of the club is being extended to Ed LeBlanc in the recent death of his wife Imelda.  Representatives from the club attended the funeral mass.
It was noted that April 02 is Autism Awareness Day in Canada.

The minutes of the March meeting were accepted with two corrections noted:
      -  Membership notes should read "not including 3 new cars"
      - Greg Zwicker will be responsible for the 1995 VCR tape rework.
     
Continuing Business:
a)   The March breakfast was well attended
b)   $1000 cheque from Lounsbury's has been deposited
c)   Cars are arranged for Speed Sport East and volunteers will be needed for Thursday noon for set up
MOTION:
To provide seven $50 gas cards for those providing show cars along with two weekend passes for each owner.

Financial Report:
(see attached paper copy)
a)   Treasurer reported current balance on April 02 is $xxxxxxx  with a $xxx cheque outstanding.  Report accepted.

b)   Bills presented for payment were $1020.36 which included $400 for the die cast models for Speed Sport East.  Bills accepted.

New Business:
a)   Our new sponsor, Vancouver Car Bra, will be at Lounsbury's on April 17.
b)   No one has picked up the Atlantic Nationals T-shirt project so it will not go forward this year.
c)   Upcoming events include Speed Sport East on April 13-15; Atlantic Corvette Meeting at Lounsbury's Meeting Room on April 15; Knights of Columbus breakfast on April 15.
d)   Membership to date is 97.
e)   The carbon fiber car has arrived and will be at Speed Sport East.
f)   Greg Zwicker reported on the Poppy Campaign project for which we will need 20 – 30 volunteers to cover one location.  Five members volunteered at the meeting
g)   MOTION:
Big Brothers/Sisters bowling donation for $50 will be forwarded to the organization.

There being no further business the meeting was declared adjourned on motion of Angie Bourgeois followed by the 50/50 draw won by Leonce Cormier for $21.50
