Greater Moncton Corvette Club
Minutes of January 2, 2012
The January 2 meeting of the Greater Moncton Corvette Club was held at the Lounsbury's meeting room with the following members present: Pat Roy, Skip & Cheryl MacKenzie, Gerry & Annette Warren, Dwight & Libby Rayworth, Wornick Price, Leontine and Roger Boudreau, Roger Bourgeois, Paul Dunn, Dave Fife, Brent & Susan Crawford, and Steve White. The December minutes stood as read.
Old Business
Roger reported that Angie had picked up 3 turkeys and delivered them to the Sue Stultz turkey drive.
Those wishing to display their corvettes at Speed Sport East should be thinking about it seriously. The event takes place on Easter weekend.
Financial Report
Wornick reported that we have 39 paid members to date.
Christmas Party Expenses Totaled $1,022.13
Amount Collected 585.00
Club Paid Out for the Party 437.13
Our bank balance as of December 30 is
Motion: It was moved by Leontine, seconded by Dwight that the financial report be accepted. Carried.
Bills for Payment
To Wornick for cost of trays and goodies for Christmas Party $49.63
Motion: It was moved by Pat, seconded by Leontine that we approve the payment of this expense. Carried.
New Business
Sympathy was extended to Mike Lipton. We will send a donation to the Autism Resource Centre on the passing of his father.
We would like to update the corvette pictures in the frames at Lounsbury's meeting room. Please send in a photo of your corvette if you would like to have your car picture updated. We would like to have all photos by our February meeting.
Motion to adjourn came at 7:20 p.m. from Leontine, seconded by Libby. Motion carried. Roger Boudreau won $15 in the 50/50 draw.
