Following are some images from my first visit to Corvettes at Carlisle and, although I did not take part in every event, it was a memorable experience.  It is impossible to capture the magnitude of this gathering in a photograph because Corvettes cover the fields in every direction as far as the eye can see.  There were 5 cars there from GMCC and three from the Nova Scotia club.  Thanks to Brian and Debbie Palmer, winners of a Judges Choice award with their silver C2, for showing me the ropes - and congrats on your award!  We were lucky that GM brought about 15 C7 Stingrays in every available colour for us to drool over - it is an amazing car.  Tadge Juechter, the Corvette Chief Engineer, was at the show and I was lucky enough to watch a walkaround presentation by him and it is unbelievable to hear the thought that went into every aspect of this car during the design and testing phases, including the controversial taillights!
Every Corvette owner has to do Carlisle at least once!
As you can see from the last image, not everyone was looking at the cars!
