Greater Moncton Corvette Club
Minutes of November 4, 2013

The regular monthly meeting of the Greater Moncton Corvette Club was held on Monday, November 4 at 7:00 p.m. in the Lounsbury's meeting room.  The following members were present:  Jerry and Annette Warren, Leontine & Roger Boudreau, Wornick Price, Roger & Angie Bourgeois, Louise and Dave Fyffe, Paul Dunn, Trueman Copp, Charles Gould, Don MacAulay, Steve White, Brian McQuinn, Ken Cameron, & Dwight & Libby Rayworth

The October minutes stood as read.

Thanks to Ken Cameron for bringing his 2014 Corvette to the meeting for all to see.  It is beautiful.

Old Business

Eight cars traveled to Truro to meet up with the Corvette Club of Nova Scotia to take part in their President's tour.  The tour included a nice meal at Debbie & Brian Palmer's.

Our President's Run was a trip lead by Trueman Copp through Turtle Creek, Riverside-Albert, Alma (to pick up lobsters) on to the Goshen Ski-doo Club where we stopped to eat our lobsters, on to Sussex, Cambridge-Narrows and then home.  Thanks Trumann for the nice tour.

Financial Report

Our balance as of October 31 is  ________.  Please see the Financial Report attached to the file copy of the minutes.

Motion: It was moved by Paul, seconded by Ken that the Financial Report be accepted.  Carried.

Bills for Payment

$75.  – Renewal of membership to the National Association of Automobile Clubs of Canada.

The Atlantic Corvette Meeting will be held on November 23 at the Lounsbury's Meeting Room.

Our Christmas Party is on November 30.  The cost of the meal will be $15 for a Turkey Dinner.


Election of Officers

Election for our Executive for 2014 will be held at the December meeting.  Nominations for all positions will be open until that time.

Nominations to date include:

President – Roger Bourgeois
Vice-President – Steve White
Treasurer – Wornick Price
Communications – Paul Dunn
Secretary – Libby Rayworth

We have two cars already reserved for next year's Speed Sport – Brad Hamilton and Ken Cameron.

Motion to adjourn came at 7:21 p.m.

Leontine won $18 in the 50/50 draw.
