Minutes of December 2, 2013

The regular monthly meeting of the Greater Moncton Corvette Club was held in the Lounsbury's meeting room at 7:00 p.m. with the following members present:  Roger & Angie Bourgeois, Steve White, Dave Fyffe, Gerry & Annette Warren, Paul Dunn, Gary Gaskin, Steve & Marilyn Whalen, Don MacAulay, Wornick Price & Dwight & Libbv Rayworth.

The November minutes were approved as read.

Old Business

A great time was had by all at our Christmas Party.  Thanks again to Angie, Annette, Leontine,  & Bob & Monica for making the hall look festive and providing the music. 

Motion:  It was moved by Angie, seconded by Steve that SPOT in Petitcodiac receive the $150 in donations that was collected at the Party.  Carried.

The Atlantic Corvette Club meeting was held on November 23 at the Lounsbury's meeting room with all 5Maritime clubs attending the meeting.  Steve will submit a report on the happenings at the meeting.

Election of Executive for 2014

There was a further nomination received.  Steve Whalen was nominated as Events Coordinator. 

As no other nominations were received, the following were elected by acclamation as the Executive for 2014.

President – Roger Bourgeois
Vice-President – Steve White
Treasurer – Wornick Price
Communications – Paul Dunn
Events Coordinator – Steve Whalen
Secretary – Libby Rayworth

The President thanked this past year's members who served on the Executive.

Turkey Drive

As has been our practice the last number of years, Angie purchased and delivered 3 turkeys on our behalf to the Sue Stultz Turkey Drive.

Angie will again reserve the Moncton Dart Club for next year's Christmas Party choosing from the following dates – December 6, 13, 20.

Financial Report

Wornick submitted the Financial Report.  Our balance as of December 2 is $          .  The financial report will be attached to the file copy of the minutes.

Motion:  It was moved by Wornick, seconded by Dwight that the Financial Report be accepted.  Carried.

Bills for Payment

Steve - $17.00 for coffee and donuts for the Atlantic Corvette Meeting on November 24

Angie – Christmas Party expenses $270.54 and Christmas Turkeys 71.69 for a total of $342.23

Correspondence

Fast Past Magazine – Roger distributed copies of Fast Past Magazine which included an article on our Club submitted by Paul.  Be sure to read the article.  Thanks Paul.

Thanks were received from Della on the donation made on the passing of her sister.

Our website had a virus which has now been fixed.

The meeting adjourned at 8:00 p.m.

Don MacAulay won $12. in the 50/50 draw.
