Minutes of February 3, 2014

The regular monthly meeting of the Greater Moncton Corvette Club was held in the Lounsbury's meeting Room on February 3, 2014 at 7:00 p.m.  The following members were present:  Bob Richard, Roger & Angie Bourgeois, Charles Gould, Norm Hebert, Roger & Leontine Boudreau, Dave & Louise Fyffe, Gerry & Annette Warren, Alfred & Zelica Landry, Wornick Price, Paul Dunn, Steve & Marilyn Whalen, Ed Slade, Ken Cameron, Steve White, Gary Gaskin & Dwight & Libby Rayworth. 

The January minutes stood as read.

Financial Report

Wornick submitted the Financial Report.  Our balance as of February 3 is $-------.  A paper copy of this Report is attached to a file copy of these minutes.

Motion:  It was moved by Wornick, seconded by Ken that the Financial Report be accepted.  Carried.

Bills for Payment

Maritime Motorsport Hall of Fame Donation $100.

$4.52 for photocopying application forms (Angie)

Motion:  It was moved by Alfred, seconded by Leontine that these bills be paid.  Carried.

Motion:   It was moved by Paul, seconded by Dwight that we pay our membership to Quad C for 2014 - $400.00  ($20 x 20 members).  Carried.

Steve Whalen prepared a Calendar of Events for 2014 for review at the meeting.  Further suggestions were made.  Please see our Web Site for an updated Calendar of Events. 

We were reminded of the Wine and Cheese Party to be held by the Corvette Club of Southern New Brunswick on February 21 at Bretts.

Raymond Cromwell is the President of the Loyalist City Corvette Club, a new club in Saint John.  Saint John now has two Corvette Clubs.

50/50 Draw

Charles won $20 in the 50/50 draw.
