We had a clear, very warm Sunday for this popular run as 13 cars set out from Moncton to travel the countryside and enjoy 3 short ferry crossings along the way.  Our first stop was The Covered Bridge Information Centre where one could pick up lots of interesting tourist information or explore the adjacent gift shop where you can purchase locally made crafts and jewellery.  This is a location few of us knew about but it was a very enjoyable stop.  From there, we travelled to the Gagetown Ferry and, since this is one of the smaller ferries, it took two loads to get us all across the Saint John River.  Unfortunately, Mike Lipton's car exhibited an on-going intermittent no start condition when debarking from the ferry and a stranger was good enough to boost the car to get it going.  Mike decided to head home at this point to avoid any future problems.  From there, we cruised to Evandale and lunch at the Evandale Inn.  Although the service was a bit slow, the consensus was that the food was good and the prices were reasonable.  Following lunch, we boarded the Evandale Ferry and after the crossing, we drove through beautiful countryside to our third and final ferry across Belleisle Bay.  Following a quick pit stop at a service station, it was on through the back roads to Sussex where we got onto Hwy 1 for a quick drive back to Moncton.  Thanks to Wornick and Dwight for putting the route together.

I forgot to post this picture taken during lunch at the Evandale Inn.
