The day started out with a wet and cold feel, but once we made it past Hampton, the sky seemed to be more encouraging for our trip to Saint John.  Ironically it was sunny and a very warm 26 degrees in what is normally known as the cool and foggy City.   Steve/Anne, Jake, Charlie, Ray, Debbie/Brian, Roger/Angie made the journey to support the Corvettes of Southern NB.
Total Corvettes for the day is estimated at 35.  The weather really discouraged owners from coming out and even the hosting club saw few of their members present.  PEI had a decent representation but no one complains about distance when your driving a vette.
Parking on the waterfront was beautiful as well as being very close proximity to shopping and eating.
After the show, we set out on a cruise to Hampton, Quispamsis, Rothesay (following along the river) and then back to Saint John.  There was a little time to kill between the show and dinner, so we took advantage and did a little shopping.  Those staying overnight rested at their hotel.
The dinner and award presentations were held at a local pub, which served a roast beef buffet (or choose items from their menu).
Those coming home with hardware were Debbie/Brian (first in class and the Labatt Brewery Award), Steve/Anne (First in Class), Jake (Excellence in Class), Roger/Angie (Excellence in Class, the prestigious Jerry O'Brien Award and surprisingly the Mayor's Choice Award, which included a $100 gift card).  GMCC took home the Club Participation award as well. Lots of prizes were had at the supper, since the attendance was low.
As always, a great show hosted by the Saint John members.
