Sept 13, 2014 - Kent County Tour

Although not on our event calendar, we put together a last minute "impromptu" tour of Kent County in order to make the most of a very nice late summer day as our 2014 season winds down.  On very short notice, 10 cars showed up at a Tim Horton's on the north end of town to head north into Kent County for lunch and a drive.  We stopped for lunch at a nice little restaurant in St Antoine where Vic and Dianne LeBlanc won the draw for a discount voucher towards their lunch.  After lunch, we travelled east through Bouctouche to the shores of the Northumberland Strait and drove north along the coast through Rexton to Richibucto where we made a brief stop on the wharf.  We then preceded to the Kierstead home where we enjoyed ice cream treats and good conversation before setting off again heading west to Harcourt and then south to Moncton and home.
