Five cars departed from Moncton on a cool, blustery Saturday morning bound for Dalhousie and the GaspĂ© region of Quebec.  On our way north, we met with 2 more cars who joined us mid-way between Miramichi and Bathurst.  Our first destination was Lounsbury's Chev Buick GMC in Dalhousie where we met with a group of members from the northern region of the province bringing the total number of cars to 15.  We were treated to a BBQ lunch by the management and staff of Lounsbury's in preparation for our trip into Quebec - thank you very much.  Bertrand Drapeau took the lead for our tour through the mountainous terrain on the Quebec side of the Restigouche River which forms the New Brunswick-Quebec border.  It was a beautiful drive with some very steep grades through the valleys and over the hills.  Our drive ended at a lookout high above the Restigouche River, affording a panoramic view of the interprovincial border.  We then returned to Dalhousie to check into our hotel and then it was off to dinner at a local restaurant.  After dinner, we returned to our hotel and played a few rounds of "Left Right Center", a simple dice game that has become a regular part of our evening activities.  There are always lots of laughs and banter playing this game.
On Sunday morning, we travelled to Balmoral, NB to visit a museum owned and operated by a local collector.  It was a very interesting tour, well worth the visit.  From there, we headed south for home with another wonderful weekend of memories.
Thank you to Bertrand Drapeau for all the time and effort he put into making this trip such a success.
