This was the final outing on the 2014 calendar so it was no surprise that there was a large turnout, in spite of the overcast weather.  Nineteen cars travelled along the Trans Canada Highway from Moncton to the Masstown Market near Truro, NS where we were met by an additional 10 cars from the Nova Scotia club.  After lunch, we all set out for Parrsboro where we stopped briefly for a coffee, gas, etc.  After we left Parrsboro, we turned onto Highway 209, a twisty, winding, hilly secondary road that follows the coast of the Bay of Fundy through Advocate Harbour and Joggins before turning towards Amherst.  This is one of the nicest roads in the region to really drive your Corvette and enjoy its capabilities and our 29 car caravan was quite a sight as it wound its way along.  With the hills on one side and the Bay on the other, the scenery is quite spectacular.  After a stop at Spencer's Island lighthouse near the midway point  the drive ended in Amherst where most in the group enjoyed a pizza buffet dinner.  As it happened, this was the birthday of both club Presidents - Roger and Brian - best wishes to both of you!
