Minutes of December 1, 2014

The regular monthly meeting of the Greater Moncton Corvette Club was held on Monday, December 1 at 7:00 p.m. in the Lounsbury's Meeting Room with the following members present:  Roger & Angie Bourgeois, Charles Gould, Don MacAulay, Gary Gaskin, Roger & Leontine Boudreau, Ed LeBlanc, Steve & Marilyn Whalen, Wornick Price, Dwight & Libby Rayworth, Trueman Copp, Paul Dunn, & Steve White.

The November minutes were approved as read.

Old Business

Approximately 15 people attended the first breakfast get together at Cheers in November.

Roger reported 48 people have confirmed their attendance at the Christmas Party.

Financial Report

Wornick presented the financial report.  Our balance as of December 1 is $_____.  A copy of the financial statement will be attached to a file copy of these minutes.  It was moved by Wornick, seconded by Angie that the financial report be accepted.  Carried.

Bills for Payment

Angie presented two bills for payment totaling $165.33 – gifts for the Christmas Party.

Motion:  It was moved by Paul, seconded by Steve that these bills be paid.  Carried.

Gas Cards

Roger reported that the 10 $25 gas cards were awarded as follows:

Maritime Cresting now has our new Club Logo.

Next Club Breakfast

The next Club Breakfast will be held on December 21 at 9:00 a.m.   We will take in the Knights of Columbus Breakfast located at the Corner of Vail & Murphy Street.

Club dues will be due at the end of the month.

Club Executive for 2015

Roger called for further nominations for the Executive Positions for 2015.   Vic LeBlanc's name was added to those of the Events Committee and Louise Fyffe's name was removed from those names willing to stand for Secretary.

The following were elected as the Club Executive for 2015:

President – Roger Bourgeois
Vice-President – Steve Whalen
Treasurer – Wornick Price
Communications – Paul Dunn
Events Coordinator – Charlie Gould (Committee – Steve Whalen, Paul Dunn, Marilyn                Whalen, Roger Bourgeois, Vic LeBlanc)
Secretary – Libby Rayworth

Please note that the Events Committee will meet on January 18 to discuss upcoming events for the Calendar.  Anyone who would like to plan an event or make an event suggestion should let Charlie Gould or a member of the Events Committee know so that it can be included in the Calendar. 

50/50 draw

Wornick won $14.00 in the 50/50 draw.
