Minutes of March 2, 2015

The regular monthly meeting of the Greater Moncton Corvette Club was held on March 2 at 7:00 p.m. in the Lounsbury's Meeting Room.  The following members were present:  Charlie Gould, Vic LeBlanc, Ed LeBlanc, Roger Bourgeois, Gary Gaskin, Dwight & Libby Rayworth, Wornick Price, Paul Dunn, Dave & Louise Fyffe, Marilyn Whalen, & Steve White. 

The February Minutes stand as read.

Roger welcomed new members Raymond Arsenault, Jean-Claude Vienneau & Jeff MacDougall.

Members met for Breakfast on February 22 at Cheers.  We received a note from the Knights of Columbus thanking us for attending their breakfasts the last few months.  They hope we will attend their breakfast on May 24 and have a mini car show at that time.

Angie, Francois, and Wornick are working on getting Pay Pal straightened out.  There has been a problem with getting the money and also a membership list of those who have paid through Pay Pal.  We hope to have this settled before the next meeting.

Financial Report   Wornick presented the financial report.  Our balance as of March 2 is $-----.  Motion:  It was moved by Wornick, seconded by Steve that the report be accepted.  Carried.  A copy of the financial report is attached to a file copy of these minutes.

Bills for Payment.  There were no bills for payment.  Motion:  It was moved by Wornick, seconded by Paul that we make a $50 donation to Big Brothers Big Sisters.  Carried.

New Business 

Speed Sport East   There has been an increase in the cost of registration from $25 to $50 for any cars registering for Speed Sport.  We will try to get enough cars interested in registering.

Bar Harbor Show May 29-31   Roger has information for anyone interested in this show.

New Club Crest    Mark's now has our new Club Crest ready.

Newfoundland Run    Marilyn confirmed that 10 cars have been confirmed to date for the ferry to Newfoundland.  Please reserve your ferry space if you have not already done so.  5 Corvettes will be joining us in Newfoundland.

50/50 Draw  Marilyn won $13 in the 50/50 draw.
