Write-up by Angela Bourgeois:
Started out a little cloudy, but five Corvettes decided it couldn't be that bad.  Two more joined us on Hwy 11 near Cocagne.  We passed through the Koufhibouguac National Park, with roads typical to NB these days, then a stop at the wharf in the village of Pointe Sapin.   After a chat with a local fisherman on what fishing is like so far this season, off we drove for lunch at Restaurant Villageois in Baie-Ste-Anne. Although It didn't look like much on the outside with visible signs of what our winter weather was like, it was charming inside and food was excellent.  Some feasted on fish & chips while others savoured the fried chicken.  Very tasty!
Then to the local wharf where a couple of members took advantage of a lobster shop to bring some home for later.
We did run into rain along our way, but it seemed to clear whenever we stopped to chat.   Despite the cool weather, I think I can safely say everyone had an enjoyable day.
