On a beautiful late September Wednesday, 11 Corvettes departed from Moncton and travelled along the TCH to the exit at Route 10, midway between Fredericton and Moncton.  There we met a group of 4 Corvettes, two from Ontario, one from Connecticut and one from Tennessee; they had earlier contacted our club regarding their travel plans and we decided to show them some New Brunswick hospitality and tour with them to some of the attractions in south-east NB.  After brief introductions, we got on the road and drove south-east on Route 10 to the town of Sussex where we briefly followed Hwy 1 to the exit for Rte 114 which leads south-east to the Bay of Fundy coast and Fundy National Park.  We travelled through the park and stopped near the eastern entrance at a lookout for a group photo.  We continued on with a brief stop in the village of Alma where we observed the vast sand flats exposed by the low tide.  Two more GMCC members met up with us in Alma, bringing the total car count to 17, not bad for a Wednesday!  That many cars attracted a LOT of attention along the way.  After leaving Alma, we took the scenic route along the coast to Cape Enrage where we stopped and spent some time wandering the rocky, windy beach.  Our next, and last, stop for the day was at the Hopewell Rocks Provincial Park where we arrived just at closing time.  We were able to park at the gate outside the parking lot and walk in from there, some following the trail right down to the water's edge and others waiting at the top of the trail.  After the visit to the Rocks, some of our club travelled with The Gang (as our visitors referred to themselves) back to Alma for dinner.
Members of The Gang told me they were shocked to see so many cars waiting for them when they first arrived but we just love to show off our little corner of the world.
