Greater Moncton Corvette Club
Minutes of December 7, 2015

The regular monthly meeting of the Greater Moncton Corvette Club was held on December 7 at 7:00  p.m. in the Lounsbury Meeting Room with the following members present:  Roger & Angie Bourgeois, Wornick Price, Dwight & Libby Rayworth, Don MacAulay, Charles Gould, Steve Whalen, Ed LeBlanc, Paul Dunn, Vic LeBlanc, Ed & Kim Slade, Louise & Dave Fyffe. 

November's minutes stand as read.

Roger mentioned the following:  A note was received from Skip & Cheryl MacKenzie on the passing of his mother.   Ken Cameron's brother passed away, and Peter Arsenault's wife Cynthia passed away.  Roger & Angie attended the graveside service for Cynthia.

Old Business

41 people have confirmed for the Christmas Party on December 12.  A Chinese Auction will be held.

Roger reported on the November 14 meeting of the Atlantic Corvette Club.  These minutes can be seen on the GMCC Forum page.

Election of Officers

The following is the Executive for 2016:

President – Roger Bourgeois
Vice-President – Steve Whalen
Communications – Paul Dunn
Treasurer – Wornick Price
Calendar of Events - Charles Gould
Secretary – Vacant

Financial Report

Wornick presented the financial report.  Balance as of November 30 is $____.  Please see his report attached to the file copy of these minutes.  Motion:  It was moved by Dwight, seconded by Steve that this report be accepted.  Carried.

Bills for Payment

To Angie:  $17.75  for 50/50 tickets and sympathy cards.  Motion:  It was moved by Angie, seconded by Charles/Wornick that this bill be paid.  Carried.

Motion:  It was moved by Wornick, seconded by Don that we renew our membership to the Antique Auto Club for $75 (15 members at $5 per member).  Carried.

Motion:  It was moved by Angie, seconded by Libby/Wornick that we donate $75 for turkeys for the Sue Stultz Turkey Drive.  Carried.  Angie will purchase and deliver the turkeys for the Club.

Motion:  It was moved by Angie, seconded by Louise that we donate $150 to the Lou McNairn School Breakfast Program.  Carried.

New Business

We plan to attend the Knights of Columbus Breakfast on December 20 and again on January 17.  After the breakfast on January 17, there will be a meeting of the Committee to set up the Calendar of Events for 2016.  Anyone is welcome to serve on this committee. And attend this meeting.

50/50 Draw

Libby won $14 in the 50/50 draw.
