April 15 & 16, 2016 - Speed Sport Car Show

Because of a conflict with a Moncton Wildcats playoff hockey game, we were not able to set up our display until early Saturday morning in order to get everything ready for a 10:00 am opening.  For some of us, this was the first 5:00 am wakeup in a long time and hopefully the last one for a long time to come!  Our cars all arrived on time and were placed with military precision by Don MacAulay and the team of helpers.  One of our sponsors, Lloyds of Moncton, were on hand to hang our curtains and banners and by the time it was all finished we had created an attractive "show within a show".

There were lots of awards and plaques given at the show and our members fared well.  Special mention goes to our runner up award for club participation thanks largely to the efforts of Don MacAulay.  In addition, Bob and Lana Cooke received a basket of awards for their Camaro and Z06 displays including Best in the North-east, Best in Show and Best Canadian car.  Congratulations to all winners and thanks to everyone involved for making it a great event.
