This was another gorgeous June day and a total of 17 Corvettes headed out of Moncton for a tour of some of the covered bridges that remain in southern New Brunswick.  It was great to be joined by 3 cars from the Nova Scotia club on our run.  Our route took us to Petitcodiac, Sussex, Hammond River and other rural villages between Rothesay and Sussex.  Lunch was enjoyed at Dolan's Irving on the Trans Canada Highway near Rothesay.  I believe it was six covered bridges we visited in total, most of them built early in the 20th century, more than 100 years ago.  It is amazing that they have survived so well in our harsh environment.
Thanks to Roger and Angie for putting this run together - an excellent time was had by all.
