On a beautiful, sunny day, 18 Corvettes left Moncton for a leisurely drive through the rolling hills of Kent County on our way to a barbecue at Roger and Jeanne Cormier's cottage located on the scenic Cocagne River.  We drove north to Bouctouche and then along the coast for a ways before heading inland through beautiful farmland to a rest stop at the Tim Horton's in Saint-Antoine.  After a short stop, we continued south to the Cocagne River and followed it east until we reached our destination at Roger and Jeanne's.  By the time we arrived our group had grown to twenty cars.  The garage is incredible with an extensive die cast car and racing memorabilia collection, a NASCAR fan's dream.  We had lots of cold drinks, great burgers and hot dogs, thanks to chefs Charles and Janelle, and sweets for dessert.  Our hosts refused to accept any contribution towards the cost of our meal and instead suggested that anything collected be donated to combat cancer and as a result, we were able to come up with a donation of more than $300.

Thank you, Roger and Jeanne, for your generous hospitality.
