November 07, 2016
Lounsbury Meeting Room

Present: Roger and Angie Bourgeois, Paul Dunn, Dave and Louise Fyffe, Gary Gaskin, Dwight and Libby Rayworth, Wornick Price, Steve Whalen, Vernon Croswaite, and Doug MacDonald.

The regular monthly meeting was called to order by the president, Roger Bourgeois, with 12 members present.  The first order of business was the presentation of $1500 cheque to the Autism Resouce Centre's executive director.  This is the amount contributed through Atlantic Nationals.  On behalf of the club, Roger and Angie has attended the AGM of the organization and were presented with the Sponsor of the Year plaque.  Angele Collette was happy to answer questions about the work of the Centre.

The president reported on recent activities:
...Lobster Run had 18 cars with the usual trip to the Goshen Snowmobile Club for the meal.  The club bought one ticket at $100 from GSC to be divided among  93 members.  Ten members bought one ticket (#168).  Good day was had by all.
...Fox Harb'r day had 30 cars, 2 steel cars, 2 NS cars.  The weather was damp and several cars (total 41 people) did not show up.  This will need to be reconsidered for next year in order that the club not be held responsible for those who did not pay/attend.  The meal and golf course tour were followed by a trip to the Jost Winery.
...the Atlantic Corvette Meeting was chaired by Roger Bourgeois and, for the very first time, there were representatives from all the provinces.  The minutes are posted on our web site.  Following the meeting ,and supper at St. James Gate, the group was entertained at the home of Jake Clements  Linda.  Many thanks to the hosts.

Minutes of the October meeting were read and accepted by the membership.
