Greater Moncton Corvette Club

Present:
Roger and Angie Bourgeois, Paul Dunn, Dave and Louise Fyffe, Gary Gaskin, Charles Gould, Ed LeBlanc, Wornick Price, Dwight and Libby Rayworth, and Chanel Michaud (12)

The regular monthly meeting was called to order by the president, Roger Bourgeois, with 12 members present.  We now have a new key to the building following the change of locks.

There being no errors or omissions the minutes of the January 2017 meeting were accepted as read.

Continuing Business:
a) Membership certificate for the Motor Hall of Fame has been received for the club providing us with the newsletter, advance notification of special events and free admission for group tours.
b) Event planning meeting was held on January 22nd as scheduled.  Calendar will be posted and revised as necessary throughout the season.
c) Business cards, stickers and pens are available from Roger.
d) Work continued with the group to refine the calendar.

Financial Report:
(see attached paper report)
The treasurer reported a balance of $Xxx. plus $165 in dues and $15 in 50/50 proceeds with $400 in outstanding cheques.  Discussion followed as to use of funds during the year with the consensus that no decision will be made until later in the season.

Acceptance of the financial report as presented.

New Business:
a) Paid membership is now over 55
b) We will have a members' table at Speed Sport East with the new membership forms available along with the album of our 2016 events
c) A "Meet and Greet" will held in the Lounsbury Meeting Room on March 25th from 2 - 4 PM with our 2016 album/video featured
d) Our show information has been added to the 2017 show schedule produced by Gary Steeves
e) Next week Roger will investigate accommodations at UPEI
f) Next breakfast gatherings will be February 19th and March 19th
There being no further business the meeting was declared adjourned on motion by Angie Bourgeois.
The 50/50 draw netted $11.00 with Dwight Rayworth being the winner.
