HATE2W8

It seemed like the rain was never going to end but on Friday the forecast looked good for Sat, so plans developed for a drive to Miramichi for lunch.  9 Corvettes left McDonalds at 9:30ish, and toward the 126 we went.   Not a cloud in the sky.   Our first pitt stop at Tim Horton/Shell in Rogersville.  You would think the Corvettes would be the attention grabber, but Trueman's puppy, Chance, took centre stage.  Before we reached downtown Miramichi, Judy & Keith Carroll joined the parade making our new total 10.
Then back on the road to the Portage Restaurant, where the noise level dropped dramatically when food was served.  That's always a sign that food is good.
Onto route 11 and into downtown Bouctouche to celebrate ice cream cone season.  And was the ice cream fresh?  Oh my!    We continued onto the scenic route along the beach between Bouctouche & Shediac, back onto route 11 and happy Corvette folks headed home. Certainly a great start to Corvette season.
