May 28, 2017 - Joggins, Parrsboro

Eleven Corvettes left Moncton and travelled the TCH to Amherst, NS, where we turned off and followed secondary roads to the Joggins Fossil Centre in Joggins, NS.  Three cars joined us along the way so we were 14 strong when we arrived at the Centre.  We spent 30 minutes exploring the facility and then had a group photo taken before departing for Parrsboro and the Glooscap Restaurant where we enjoyed a very nice lunch.  After lunch, we drove towards Advocate Harbour and Spencer's Island;  it seems we missed the turnoff and overshot our destination.  At this point, I left the group and drove home but the plan was to reverse direction to Spencer's Island lighthouse for a stop, on to Masstown Market for browsing and shopping and then back to Moncton along the TCH.
