About 20 cars left Moncton in damp, overcast conditions and travelled to Pictou, NS and stopped at the beautiful home of Rollie MacDonald, a very good friend of our club.  Several cars joined our group along the way so we were now about 25 strong.  Rollie had somehow managed to reserve about 30 prime parking spots in downtown Pictou on the waterfront near the wharf where the tall ships were docked.  Rollie led us in a caravan from his house to the parking area, causing quite a stir along the way.  After parking, the group split up with some going to a restaurant for lunch and others to the wharf to see the tall ships.  The weather cleared around noon and it turned into a beautiful afternoon as we ate, wandered the streets and enjoyed the tall ships.  The afternoon crowd was large and our Corvette display drew a lot of attention.  We departed Pictou at 3:00 pm and drove the secondary roads along the Northumberland Strait back home to Moncton.
It was a very nice day and special thanks to our friend Rollie for looking after us so well while we were in Pictou.
