May 31 to June 3, 2018 - Bar Harbor

Approximately 20 cars from the GMCC travelled to Bar Harbor, ME for the annual gathering and show staged by the Vettes of Coastal Maine club.  The largest group of 12 left Moncton on Thursday morning but smaller groups drove down the day before and the day after.  The organizers do an excellent job setting up an itinerary that allows participants to be as busy or as relaxed as they wish to be.  The weather was perfect for the entire weekend, mostly sunny and very warm - except at the top of Cadillac Mountain where a cold mist was being driven over the mountain by strong winds.  The actual show took place on Saturday morning with a large turnout of cars of all ages.  Following the show, there was a group cruise to Northeast Harbor for a group photo.  The culmination of the weekend festivities was the banquet buffet and dance on Saturday evening with a Mardi Gras theme.  Sunday was the travel home day after a terrific weekend renewing old acquaintances and making new ones while celebrating the Corvette Lifestyle!  Thank you VOCM!
