It was another hot, sunny summer day as about 38 Corvettes left our Moncton departure point at mid-morning headed north to wander up the coast and explore some secondary roads in Kent County on our way to Lindou and Jeanne's cottage on the shore of the Cocagne River.  We made a couple of stops along the way to gather the group back together as traffic was heavy and it was difficult to maintain contact in our very long caravan.  When we arrived at the cottage shortly after noon, our chefs were busy preparing ribs, burgers and sausages and we wasted no time getting into the food.  By this time, we had added a couple more cars to the group so the total count was 40 cars, one of which was a ZR1 belonging to Bob and Alana Cooke which got a lot of attention.  During the course of the lunch, Vic made the rounds with a donation bucket for Jeanne's charity, cancer research, and at last count, more than $1,000 had been donated.  After everyone had eaten their fill, group pictures were taken and people departed at their leisure.  Thank you to our cooks - Janelle, Charles, Don, Debbie, Chanel and I hope I didn't miss anyone!  Special thanks to Lindou and Jeanne for opening their cottage to us and hosting this great annual event.
