Sept 9, 2018 - Miramichi Dragway

Seven cars left Moncton on a beautiful morning and drove north on Route 126 to Rogersville where we pulled over for a rest stop.  Another member met us there so we were 8 cars strong when we left to complete our journey to the Miramichi Dragway which is located adjacent to the airport.  Racers were there from all over the region racing motorcycles, snowmobiles and all sorts of trucks and cars, many of them Corvettes or at least derived from Corvettes. The weather was perfect with just a hint of fall in the air, particularly when the sun went behind the fluffy cumulous clouds.  Unfortunately, I had to leave before the group as my back was causing me considerable discomfort, quickly relieved when I sat in the contoured seat of my Corvette!! .
