A chilly wind was blowing on an otherwise perfect Fall morning when 14 Corvettes left Moncton en route to Pictou, NS.  We followed the TCH to Masstown where we made the mandatory stop at the market.  While there in the parking lot, we met George & Linda Penner who are vacationing in the region and stopped when they saw the Corvettes.  They are members of the Corvette Club of Manitoba and it turns out that George is the club photographer!  Imagine my surprise.  We exchanged information and plan to stay in touch; it doesn't hurt to have contacts at other clubs.  From the market, we continued on the TCH to Pictou and the garage/race shop of Rollie MacDonald where we toured the shop, enjoyed refreshments that were provided and admired cars that were on display by local enthusiasts.  By the time we reached Rollie's we were about 19 cars strong as other Corvettes had joined us along the way.

From Rollie's, we drove through Pictou to the Breakwater Restaurant which opened early for our visit.  The service was quick and friendly and the food was very good - what more can one ask for?  For our trip home we followed the Sunrise Trail along the coast of the Northumberland Strait, enjoying the Fall colours along the way.
