Greater Moncton Corvette Club
April 01, 2019      Lounsbury's Meeting Room       7 PM

Present: Roger and Angie Bourgeois, Wornick Price, Dave and Louise Fyffe, Ed LeBlanc, Dwight and Libby Rayworth, Chanel Michaud, Betty May Madden, Jake Clements, Trueman Copp, Margaret Mayes, Wayne Coster, Roger and Leontine Boudreau, Eric LeBlanc, Paul and Monique Girouard, Victor LeBlanc, Ken Cameron, Don MacAuley, and Charles Gould (23)

The meeting was called to order by the president at 7 PM with a welcome to all.  Corvette season is here and the attendance at the meeting shows that we're ready to go for another year.

Minutes were read and approved with two corrections noted for the records. 

Old/Continuing Business:
a)   The March 17th breakfast was well attended.
b)   Speed Sport East planning --- display cars are in place; volunteer list is prepared; display will be on the ice surface; Lounsbury's will be sponsoring the entries; set up will be at 1 PM on Thursday; Atlantic Corvette meeting will be held on Saturday at 10 AM in the Lounsbury's meeting room; Betty May is preparing the banner for the Paul Dunn tribute; Trueman will deliver posts and ropes for set up.

Financial Report:
   The treasurer reported expenses of $401.25 and income of $86.49 for the month with a balance of $xxxx as of this date.  Report accepted as presented.
   Bills for payment for $103 to Roger Bourgeois for oil prizes were approved.
MOTION:
Big Brothers/Big Sisters annual donation of $50 to be paid.
   Moved: Angie Bourgeois   Seconded: Libby Rayworth      Approved

New Business:
a)   Next Knights of Columbus breakfast will be April 28th with SNAP'D possibly in attendance.
b)   Membership is currently at 100 and this will increase during Speed Sport East.
c)   Front license plate law is currently in the works but has not been declared.
d)   Steve Whalen is recovering from surgery.  Monique Girouard thanks us for remembering her family on the death of her sister.
e)   The tasks outlined in last month's notes have been covered by volunteers.
f)   Code cards for Corvette Depot were passed out.
g)   The first run of the season will be May 05 to Greer's Garage in Fredericton.

There being no further business the meeting was declared adjourned.
The 50/50 draw for $22 was won by Paul Girouard.
