Greater Moncton Corvette Club

Present: Roger and Angie Bourgeois, Dave and Louise Fyffe, Gary Gaskin, Charles Gould, Wornick Price, Dwight and Libby Rayworth, Trueman Copp, Margaret Mayes, Chanel Michaud, Betty May Madden, and Bob Cormier (14)

The meeting was called to order by the president at 7:05 PM with a welcome to the 14 members present.

Minutes of the April 2019 meeting were accepted as read.

Old/Continuing Business:
a) Speed Sport East Report --- There was room for 7 cars in our display area and we won 3rd place for our group.  Paul Dunn's car was included in a special display with a memorial plaque.  Special thanks to Betty May Madden for her work on this plaque and for the two new banners with the legend "Living The Dream" which is most appropriate for those of us buying Corvettes.  Many members contributed their time and energy to the weekend and we thank each of them.  Attendance seemed down a bit from last year.  The Atlantic Corvette meeting was held as scheduled on Saturday.
b) Knights of Columbus breakfast was attended by 9 members.
c) Trip to Greer's Garage was cancelled due to road flooding and will take place later in the year.
d) Current membership is 109.

Financial Report:
Current account stands at $Xxxx with expenses of $443.75 and income of $410.32
(paper account attached to minutes).  Report accepted as presented.

Bills for payment were unanimously approved for $94.31 with a cheque to Angie Bourgeois.

New Business:
a) Ladies Run for May 19th is cancelled until later in the year.
b) Petitcodiac Show is June 02 at 9 AM
c) First run of the season with 8 cars was to Stellarton and a museum tour with a stop at Masstown
d) May 26th --- Knights of Columbus breakfast followed by a trip to Cape Jourmaine
e) May 30 – 31 ---- depart Magnetic Hill at 7:30 AM on Thursday for Bar Harbor
f) Thank yous have been received from Cystic Fibrosis Canada and YMCA Moncton for our Christmas party donations.  Thanks to all who supported the fund raising at the party.
g) The passing of family members was noted --- Paul LeBlanc, brother of Don; Vicky Bell, wife of Dawson; and Pauline Pinto's mother.  The sympathy of the club has been extended to these families.
h) Cindy Wilcox will meet with Angie Bourgeois this coming week.
i) Please regularly review the on-line calendar to confirm runs and/or cancellations.

There being no further business the meeting was adjourned.
50/50 draw won by Louise Fyffe for $14.
