Another fantastic weekend of activities, sponsored by our friends with the PEICC.  Leaving Aulac, we crossed the bridge to join up with that club at Gateway Village for a run to Stompin' Tom's museum.  Lunch was served, and a special thank you goes to the cooks and servers, as everyone had eaten within approx an hour.  Great organization skills.
It never ceases to amaze me that although PEI is not know as a large island, it certainly has a lot of territory to visit, different each year.  A great job done by the PEI members for taking us to areas never explored before.  Considering we were 54 Corvettes when we arrived at the museum and no one got lost, hats off to those that kept us in line.
Once we finished lunch, our group split with the PEI members returning home and the rest returning to their hotels/motels.  It was time for a little rest as the PEI members prepared the BBQ and auction.  Thank you to everyone who donated to the auction as it is very difficult to get prizes.
After the BBQ, some returned to the Comfort Inn for a game or two of L-R-C.  The Manager allowed us to use the breakfast room, telling staff the next day that we turned it into a bar. (said with a little humour, since she knows Roger).
We woke up to dark clouds and the threat of rain, but a good turn out registered just the same.  Unfortunately it did rain quite hard and it was determined that the show would have to be cut short - so prizes were given out and a few attended a group dinner before heading home.
Despite the weather on Sunday, everyone enjoyed Saturday so much, that everyone was happy with the weekend activities.
