Greater Moncton Corvette Club
November 04, 2019         
Lounsbury Meeting Room - by 7 PM

Present: Roger and Angie Bourgeois, Dave and Louise Fyffe, Don MacAuley, Dwight and Libby Rayworth, Trueman Copp, Margaret Mayes, Victor LeBlanc, Rick and Helen Estabrooks, Bob Cormier, Wayne Coster, Betty May Madden, Wornick Price, Ed LeBlanc, and Charles Gould (18)

The meeting was called to order by the president who welcomed the 18 members in attendance.

Minutes of the October meeting were accepted as read.

Old/Continuing Business:
1) Current membership is 145 families
2) President's run to Fox Harbour was pleasant with 10 cars in attendance
3) Lobster Run went well with 25 cars --- Riverside - Albert stop, Studio on the Marsh for a presentation by Mac Dunfield of Ducks Unlimited, Alma for our food pick up and then to the Goshen Snowmobile Club for dinner.  Thanks to Trueman and Margaret for organizing this event.
4) Buctouche Pageant was a success.  Thank you to those who participated.
5) Hampton Middle School show had 8 Corvettes.  This event is growing every year.

Financial report:
Current bank balance is $Xxxx with income this month of $xxx and expenses of $Xxxx.
MOTION:
Acceptance of the treasurer's report as presented.
Moved: Rick Estabrooks.   ​Seconded: Libby Rayworth​     Carried
MOTION:
Donations to be made of $75 to the Sue Stultz Turkey Drive and $500 to Food Bank Alimentaire.
Moved: Angie Bourgeois​    Seconded: Bob Cormier​    Carried

New Business:
1) Corvette Atlantic Meeting --- those clubs who could not attend sent notes to be read.  There may be changes upcoming for club shows in 2020
2) Nominations --- all members are encouraged to nominate others or to volunteer within the context of the meetings as it encourages others to step forward.  Currently we have the following volunteers or nominees for 2020:
President --- Roger Bourgeois
Vice president
Treasurer --- Wornick Price
Secretary --- Helen Estabrooks (available in April --- Louise Fyffe to hold the position until that time)
Volunteer Events Coordinator --- Rick Estabrooks
Volunteer Communications Coordinator --- Bob Cormier
                 Bob and Rick will work closely together on these files
3) After an extensive discussion the following motion was approved:
MOTION
The president, vice president, secretary, and treasurer will receive honorary memberships in the club for the current year of service as of January 01, 2020.

There being no further business the meeting was adjourned followed by the 50/50 draw won by Ed LeBlanc for $23 and a draw for 2 pairs of Wildcat tickets on behalf of the Cystic Fibrosis Society
