PEI Day Trip

Saturday August 28th, Greater Moncton Corvette Club
1. Leave Irving parking lot on Dieppe Blvd, no later than 08h30
2. Pit stop at the Gateway Village, possibly having some PEI Corvettes joining us. Leaving there by
10h15
3. Green Park Shipbuilding Museum and Yeo House at Green Park Provincial Park. There will be a
guided tour through Yeo House, however due to our numbers, we will be divided into two groups.
One group can visit the museum while the other is at the house and then the groups will switch
buildings. We will leave the park by 11h15 – 12h.
4. Wind and Reef Restaurant at North Cape for dinner, followed by a visit to the Interpretive Centre.
It was suggested that we pre-order our dinner to ensure that they have sufficient supplies (should
many people order the same thing) and that they provide the meal in a timely manner, however
it's not obligatory. I've provided the menu for your information. For the Interpretive Centre, there
will be a 20% discount on the admission price. We will leave the centre by 15h00.
5. Stompin Tom's Centre in Skinners Pond. For this centre, there will be a 15% discount on the
admission price. It was suggested 30 to 45 min for the centre, so we will leave there at 16h00.
6. Spinnaker's Landing, Summerside. There is a large parking lot with several amenities,
restaurants, and take-outs within a 5-minute walk (Jolly Roger, Dixie Lee, Tim Hortons, Dino's
Pizza, Ann's Cakes and Café, etc.) Option of dine-in of your choice or bringing back take-out to
the parking lot, picnic-style.
7. Leave for NB at approx. 18h10.
