Greater Moncton Corvette Club
Minutes of June 4, 2012

The regular monthly meeting of the Greater Moncton Corvette Club was held in the Lounsbury's meeting room with the following members in attendance:  Brent & Susan Crawford, Angie & Roger Bourgeois, Steve White, Bob Surrette, Dennis Wall, Doug MacDonald, Mike Lipton, Jerry & Annette Warren, Gary & Suzanne Gaskin, Paul Dunn, Dwight & Libby Rayworth, Skip & Cheryl MacKenzie, Wornick Price, Dave Fife, Rick Wood,

The May minutes stood as read.

Roger & Agnie took part in River Valley Vette's cruise to Woodstock.

The BBQ at the Maritime Motorsport Hall of Fame was well attended.  The food was great.  Lunch was followed by a drive to Alma and home through Hopewell Cape.

Thanks to Art for organizing our lobster lunch at Bouctouche.  This was followed by a nice run through Harcourt.

Eight corvettes took part in the Miramichi Fusion Festival.

Wornick submitted the Financial Report.  Our balance as of May 24, 2012 is     .

It was moved by Wornick, seconded by Bob that the financial report be accepted.  Motion carried.

Bills for Payment. 

Angie presented bills totaling $352.26.  It was moved by Wornick, seconded by Steve that these bills be paid.  Motion carried.

Fiberglass Alley runs from June 15 – 17.  We will be leaving McDonald's Restaurant at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday June 16.

June 23 is the date of the St. Martin's Run.  We will leave McDonald's at 9:00 a.m. and will meet up with Corvettes of Southern New Brunswick and River Valley Vettes at Sussex Corner Anglican Church parking lot..

On June 30 there will be a 40th Anniversary Show & Shine in Blacks Harbour.  The Ford Country Club Show & Shine will be held on Father's Day in Riverview at Caseley Park.

There was discussion on our upcoming Car Show.  T-shirts were discussed.  Bob Surrette will take care of prizes.  Roger will look into a meal at the Dart Club.  If this is not possible, our meal will be held at the Salisbury Big-Stop.  Roger and Dwight offered to help park cars.  The regular Friday run to L'Aboiteau for lunch will be held again as usual with everyone meeting at Kents in Dieppe.

Mike and Jeannie Lipton have invited the club to their cottage in Tatamagouche on July 21.  Everyone is to bring a picnic.  A BBQ will be supplied for cooking your food.  We will leave Kents in Dieppe at 9:00 a.m.

A motion by Angie, seconded by Libby to adjourn came at 8:05 p.m.  Motion carried.

Suzanne won $15 in the 50/50 draw.
